New here?
You should not have to be brave to get a cleaning.
Whether it has been six months or sixteen years, the first visit is designed to be the easiest appointment you have had in a long time. Here is the whole of it, minute by minute.
Your first visit
Step by step, so there are no surprises.
Dental anxiety is almost never about the chair. It is about not knowing what happens in it. So here is exactly what happens.
-
STEP 01 / 04
Welcome and Paperwork
We send paperwork ahead of time so you spend less time in the waiting room.
-
STEP 02 / 04
Comprehensive Exam and X-Rays
Including digital scans, oral cancer screening, and a periodontal evaluation.
-
STEP 03 / 04
Treatment Conversation
We walk through what we found, what is urgent, what can wait, and what it costs.
-
STEP 04 / 04
Cleaning Same Day if Time Allows
Most new patients are in and out in under 90 minutes.
Most first visits: under 90 minutes, door to door
"My son used to cry before every dental visit. At Ridgeview, he actually asks when his next appointment is."
Before you arrive
Three things to bring, nothing to rehearse.
Your ID and insurance card
Or just your carrier name if the card is lost. We run the benefits check before you sit down, so the estimate is ready when you are.
Your medication list
Blood thinners, blood pressure medication, and antibiotics premedication all change how we plan the visit. A phone photo of the bottles works fine.
The honest history
Six months or sixteen years since your last visit, say it plainly. Nobody here lectures. The gap changes the x-ray count, never the welcome.
Nervous? Say so when you book. We will block a longer slot, walk slower, and nitrous is available for any visit. Emergency instead? Start here →
The part where you show up
We have a chair open for you this week.
Same-day appointments are usually available for emergencies. Routine cleanings book about a week out. We will work around your schedule, including early mornings and Saturday cleanings.
