Most profile vendors polish photos and hours. The thing that actually decides whether you can appear in the local pack is category eligibility: Google only shows your business for searches your primary and secondary categories qualify for, and a plausible-looking wrong category can silently zero out your discovery for years. I choose the categories against what the pack actually rewards in your market, then build out services, attributes, service area, photos, and the question-and-answer section around that decision.
The profile alone is half the job. I add local business structured data to your site so search engines can connect the profile to it, tag every profile link so visits from it are attributable, connect the search consoles, and make sure your name, address, and phone read identically across the directories that matter. Before any of it changes, I record where you currently rank and where you appear in map results, so month one has something honest to be measured against.
